台灣邁入高齡化社會，許多老年照護的議題是許多媒體關注的焦點，但對於身心障礙者的雙老家庭來說，照顧身障兒女的年邁父母，因著孩子生理的逐漸老化，無論在精神上，或是體力、家庭經濟，都面臨難以承受的壓力。本集NPO傳愛列車要為大家介紹位於北台灣的財團法人苗栗縣私立新苗發展中心，他們以真誠、踏實、自主的服務精神，照顧身心障礙的朋友，為他們預備一個安全溫馨的理想家園，分擔身障者雙老肩頭上的重擔。邀請到中心的創始人林金枝主任，以及社工督導陳佩琪來跟大家分享中心的服務工作，歡迎收聽。
