Calgary Kidnapping Ends in High-Speed Chase | Calgary News

Calgary police arrest three suspects in a chilling kidnapping and robbery that began when a man was ambushed with a knife while walking his dog — forced into his own car, driven to the city’s edge, and abandoned. The victim, with minor injuries, was rescued by a passerby who called RCMP. Officers tracked the stolen vehicle high-speed out of town to Innisfail, where they nabbed a woman and two men — including two kids in the car — before safely recovering the victim’s dog. Tiera Sedentopf faces stolen property and dangerous driving; Danny Sawa Sawa and Kyle Fraser are charged with serious offenses including kidnapping and weapons use. A third suspect remains at large. Authorities praised cross-agency teamwork and warned of the extreme danger posed to the victims — especially the children — during this brazen crime.
