Calgary Police Chief Mark Neufeld, Mayor Jyoti Gondek, and Grey Cup Weekend

We begin with Calgary Police Chief Mark Neufeld. We ask the Chief what he believes is behind this recent ‘uptick’ of gun violence in the City of Calgary and the strategy the CPS has in place to address the issue.      Next, we catch up with Mayor Jyoti Gondek and get her thoughts on the disturbing increase in violent crime in the City. The Mayor also brings us an update on her conversations with the Federal Government on the “Housing Accelerator Fund”, which has ‘earmarked’ 228-million dollars for the City of Calgary.    Finally, The Stampeders will not be in this weekend’s Grey Cup in Hamilton, but Calgary is being well represented in the festivities ahead of the big game.
