Calgary’s New Library Breaks Ground | Calgary News

Calgary’s Symons Valley Centre Library breaks ground in Sage Hill, marking a $43 million leap into the city’s future as it prepares for two million residents. This 15,000-square-foot hub—complete with new street, parking, and green spaces—will replace a packed temporary library that circulated 180,000 books last year. Designed as a community anchor, it’s part of a broader push to meet growing demand across neighborhoods like Evanston and Nolan Hill, with more libraries on the way—including one in Belmont Field House opening in 2027. This isn’t just about books—it’s about building a livable, connected city for tomorrow. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
