Calibration is Not Going Away

I've had a number of conversations over the years where people seem to think some new technology will somehow remove the need for calibration. Fact is the people that tend to say things like this just don't seem to understand what the word calibration is referring to under these circumstances, let alone the importance of traceability to the over all picture.
