California is making headlines as results of the primary election come in

The returns are still early, but the race for California Governor looks to be headed toward a November run off between Democrat Xavier Becerra and Republican Steve Hilton. Early numbers are in for the race to fill the vacant seat in Congress once occupied by disgraced former Congressman Eric Swalwell. In one of the most closely watched races, it appears State Senator Scott Wiener will face Supervisor Connie Chan to see who will replace Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi in Congress.
