Call in Guests James Weeks with Identity Music Festival & Olivia Davies artistic director for Matriarch Uprising

James Weeks Has created Identity music festival Identity is an all age festival that is keen to create a safe space for all identities in Metro Vancouver. As promoters that grew up expressing ourselves through music, we realize this city doesn't equally celebrate all its communities, which is a shame so we decided to do something about it. We are here to present, support, celebrate, create, and share experiences. We are working with different organizations to assure that Identity Festival is a safe space to the LGBTQ+ communities; our diverse line up has a strong representation of LGBTQ+ members and their allies.We aim to reach the Youth of Vancouver by all and any means necessary. We are working to bridge the gap in communication between the high schools and the music community. Letting youth and parents know about the thriving music scene Vancouver has to offer. We are working with local businesses, community organizers, youth groups and everyone we can to help get the word out about our events.The festival is July 6th at the Red Gates Arts Society on Main Street.
