Pastor Bruce Garner // WHO NEEDS COMMUNITY? Years ago a Harvard professor published research in a now-famous book, “Bowling Alone.” Our sense of community was fraying, he argued. We were growing lonely and alienated in America. It was true then, and most would say it is even worse now. This Sunday, I’m going to share a passage that is challenging to me. It directs and encourages me as a pastor. It’s all about our life together. I am praying it will help us understand the KIND of church Jesus wants us to be.
