Called to Walk in the Humility of Christ Part 2

This morning we continue to consider what it means to walk in a manner worthy of our calling in Christ Jesus. The answer is found in Ephesians 4:2, we are to walk in the humility of Christ Jesus! We will accomplish this by first reading Philippians 2:3-11 and respond to the description of Christ's humility and sacrifice for our souls. We will then ask and answer the questions, "Do We Possess the Mind of Christ?" and "Do We Live Christ's Life of Humble Service?" This is a time of self reflection. It is a time to be honest with ourselves as we look into the mirror of the New Testament and see the humility of Christ and examine our own lives to see if our life, mirror image resembles that of Christ Jesus. If so, wonderful! Keep living the glorious life of our Christ. If not, search the Scriptures to see, understand, prioritize, and apply this great character quality of Christ's life. Remember, as we walk and live our lives as Christ did for us then we will become the men and women of integrity that can be trusted regardless of the great challenges and difficulties we will face in the future.
