Called to Worship

Notes: God calls us to submit to him by obeying him. Romans 8:28 - And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.  Hebrews 10:24-25 - And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. Ezekiel 20:19 - I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and be careful to obey my rules, Acts 2:46 - And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 1 Timothy 4:13 -  Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Romans 13:1-2 - Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment. Acts 5:29 - But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men. Matthew 5:46-47 - For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
