Today we will read through the story of King Solomon and see how he was called to build God's temple in Jerusalem. We will also get to see how his wealth and wisdom both helped to serve the Lord and also how it caused competition for his loyalty and devotion to God.King Solomon struggled later in life as his own splendor got to his head and he began to fall away from God. This caused a huge problem for al of Israel. Even though he was warned to follow God's laws and stay loyal to God, Solomon focused more on his own wants and desires than the good of his country.
