Calling on the Power of God

Series Title: Peter the Missionary Series Summary: The book of Acts focuses on the history of the early christian church and what it teaches us about it. It also talks about Jesus continuing work after his resurrection, through leaders in different cities and how we also might serve him. This series will focus on Peter and the missionary expansion of the church under his ministry, and how it if informs Harbor City Church ministry in San Diego. Passages: Acts 9:32-43 This message helps focus us on christendom, a term used in christian circles and scholarly circles, both christian and non-christian, to talk about this period of time in history where the church had a privileged position of bringing christianity's influence on western society functions.
