Calls For Fast-Tracked Investment To Unlock Economic Growth In Shannon

Three of Ireland's largest business organisations have issued a joint call for enhanced and fast-tracked investment in the MidWest. It comes as Shannon, Limerick and Galway Chambers have each officially launched their pre-budget 2027 submissions. Among the goals listed by the groups is the accelerated delivery of the N19 Shannon Airport Access Road, which they say is necessary to unlock future growth opportunities. Shannon Chamber CEO Helen Downes has been telling Clare FM's Daragh Dolan they want to ensure the local economy continues to expand.
