Calpe Conference, Return to Sound, Managing Pressure, Nautilus Project

from Gibraltar Today

It’s Day Two of the Calpe Conference, bringing together leading experts on human evolution and Neanderthals. The Newsroom's Ros Astengo joined us live from the University of Gibraltar with the latest. A new GBC television programme follows the journeys of the first two people to receive cochlear implants here in Gibraltar. We’ll be joined by GBC director and producer Colin Pons, and ENT surgeon Mr Julian Danino, to hear more about Return to Sound: A Medical Milestone. Life coach Jo Ferbrache has been working with GBC staff on practical ways to manage pressure and perform more effectively. Jo is now on the Rock for the GMF Summer Sessions. And, the Nautilus Project has launched a new range of T-shirts featuring local marine life, including a whale shark sighted in nearby waters earlier this year. Eva Guillem and George Burns will tell us more. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
