Cal's New Era Under Lupoi

Syracuse prepares for a high-stakes showdown against Cal on September 12th at the JMA Wireless Dome, as the Golden Bears enter their second ACC season under new head coach Tosh Lupoi. Cal’s offense, powered by freshman QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele’s stellar debut (3,400 yards, 18 TDs), struggled with a dismal run game last year — leading to the exit of longtime coach Justin Wilcox. Lupoi, a former Cal assistant with ties to Alabama and Oregon, is already reshaping the roster with key transfers at WR, RB, and defense, including a top-rated Oregon DL. With Sagapolutele locked in and a revamped roster, Cal’s offense could finally click — and Syracuse better be ready. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
