Each year the St John' s College plays host to the Cambridge Ophthalmological Symposium, a two day residential meeting gathering together both research and clinical ophthalmologists to discuss a specific topic under the chairmanship of a leader in the field. This year's topic was infection and we lucky enough to be able to interview a few of the key speakers about their work: - Jerry Pier: How pathogens interact with the eye interact - Todd Margolis: Herpes ocular infections: treatment and prophylaxis - Elmer Tu: Protozoal keratitis: acanthamoeba and microsporidia
