Camden Point | Tupelo | Cool Spring | Peachtree Creek

Coming up this week we are covering four battles from three campaigns. First up is the small battle of Camden Point in Missouri on July 13th, 1864. Part of the Paw Paw Rebellion, Union soldiers attacked Confederates who were caught by surprise as they were having a picnic.  The battle of Tupelo was fought July 14th-15th where Union troops battle Confederate forces to ensure the safety of Sherman's supply lines for the Atlanta Campaign.  At the battle of Cool Spring in Clarke County, Virginia on July 17th-18th, where Jubal Early continues to make his way back from the Washington D.C. area.  Our last battle of the episode is the Battle Of Peachtree Creek in the Atlanta Campaign on July 20th. Confederate Lt. Gen. John Bell Hood launches his first major attack against Sherman since taking control of the Army Of Tennessee from Joseph E.
