Cameron Brewer: Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister on the Government introducing safety standards for corded blinds

The Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister says families deserve to know home products are safe. The Government's acted on recommendations from three coroners, and is introducing compulsory safety standards for corded blinds.  Eight children have died since 2008, after becoming entangled in cords.  Minister Cameron Brewer says he's read the 'harrowing' coroner's reports and the Government needed to take action.
