Cameron David Hopkins | Musician | 351 | thamichaelated Multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, educator, composer & producer Bed Arts (Music) BEd Cameron David Hopkins joins us Toniiiiiiiight in THA Schtudio as he is in town only for a couple of days before he flies back to Montreal and we learned all about that classical guitar of his. He surprised performance so don't miss the end of this week's episode. Always bring your guitar or your dad’s. Cameron studied classical guitar in Thunder Bay before moving out to Montreal and pursuing his passion as a musician in 2019. He also told us that he likes all sorts of music and loves when an artist has a characteristic voice that is exclusive , its own identity, like Korn, Beethoven, Neil Young and Gorillaz.  We talk about the architecture in Montreal and Cameron's love for food and travelling along with some interesting stories about his solo trip to Japan. He also talked about playing bass in a freak rock band in Montreal and touring with his bandmates around Ontario.  Yes looking at you Chicken pick up truck! Cameron also believes that ideas are fleeting and writing them down at that very moment really helps him as a singer/songwriter where he has a bunch of melodies and notes he can look back on and choose what to elaborate.  He also mentions playing at the Montreal Ribfest this year with his band and we're super excited for him. Let’s hope they get it!
