Cameron’s Historic Shutout Lifts Royals | Kansas City Royals News

Noah Cameron delivered a historic shutout masterpiece, tossing a one-hit, complete game against the Angels while striking out eight and retiring the first 15 batters. Backed by a lockdown defense led by Michael Massey’s dazzling plays and clutch homers from Massey and Bobby Witt Jr., Cameron became the first Royals pitcher since Zack Greinke in 2009 to throw such a gem — also his career-high nine innings. The win snapped a losing streak, boosted the Royals’ record, and reignited their momentum as they look to keep climbing.
