Katy personally does this in her bed, but it could work on a couch or anywhere else where you can comfortably place a blanket over your head and record the audio files. Recording With USB Headsets / ComputerAnother easy way to record audio files is through a USB headset and your computer. There's tons of headsets out there and there's some pretty affordable ones. It's basic and it works. Katy uses Audacity for audio editing. Audacity is a free and open-source audio editing tool available for Windows, Mac and Linux. Do not do this! The quality won't compare to what you could produce with around $7 and going to Walmart to acquire the headset for the setup mentioned above!
