Police had to attend the Camp Bay pool on Friday when lifeguards were mobbed by a group of youths and some parents, leading to the closure of the pool. The Department of the Environment says it will not tolerate abusive behaviour. Christine Vasquez has been at Camp Bay today with the Department. The GGCA has formed a working group that will look at pay and work conditions, following a unanimous vote by shop stewards. The group will be looking at improving the future for the workforce in Gibraltar. Union president, Darren Cerisola, joined us in the studio after a meeting this morning and told us how it went. There were more cases of sexually transmitted infection gonorrhoea in England last year than at any time since records began more than 100 years ago. Thankfully, Gibraltar has not seen a similar rise, but sexual health is fundamental to overall health. We spoke to Laura Netto and Claire Gill of the Well Person Clinic.And, it’s a big week for international Basketball on the Rock: Gibraltar is hosting Division C of the FIBA under 16 women's qualifiers.
