Camp Pendleton troops head to the border

Hundreds of troops from Camp Pendleton headed to the U.S.-Mexico border. It’s a new military border deployment ordered by President Donald Trump. The mission mirrors one Trump ordered during his first term — 5,000 troops were sent to the border just ahead of the 2018 midterm elections.
