May you live the life of a peacemaker in your work, whatever that might be. For those whose professional lives feel shrouded in darkness: may you find the strength to hope that the dawn will soon appear. For those facing ethical dilemmas, perhaps a path of promotion is in front of you, but it will lead you away from the path of Jesus, May you find the courage to rebel as Shiphrah and Puah did, acting in wise and cunning ways that promote life and not death. For those who are responsible for creating and maintaining the ethics of their professional environment, to those who have been entrusted with leadership and influence: May you find the courage to model the way of Jesus, to create an environment that promotes life, an environment that values people over corporate profits or personal gain.
