50 Campfires had the privilege of speaking with Chris Havel, who's the Associate Director of Oregon State Parks, and has been for nearly 24 years. We wanted to know what was behind record setting years in their campgrounds - as well as some of his favorite spots to check out around the state. We were fortunate enough to spend some time camping around the state a few years ago, and had an amazing time in their parks. Stunning, beautiful and memorable. Enjoy!
