Campus Dining in Crisis | Memphis Tigers Basketball News

Students at the University of Memphis are frustrated with an unreliable, expensive, and ever-changing campus dining scene—where meal plans cost more than they’re worth, popular eateries vanish without warning, and inconsistent food quality leaves hungry students scrambling. While staff remain friendly, students blame rigid policies and profit-driven decisions for the chaos, calling for simple fixes like staff-operated equipment to boost consistency and cut costs. Their real demand? A stable, affordable, and predictable dining experience that actually fits their busy college lives.
