Campus for Hope Takes Shape | Las Vegas News

A massive new campus designed to end homelessness in Southern Nevada is set to launch in late 2023 or early 2024, modeled after San Antonio’s proven success. Offering housing, medical care, and job training—with residents staying an average of nine months—it aims to tackle root causes, not just symptoms. Funding is on track thanks to state matching funds, though one city, Henderson, has refused to contribute, raising questions about inclusivity. Rising homelessness, fueled by heat, floods, and unaffordable housing, demands bold action—and the gaming industry is stepping up. With 27 community partners onboard to deliver critical services like rehab and healthcare, this ambitious project seeks long-term stability. Critics note sobriety requirements, but supporters believe this comprehensive model could transform lives. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
