Can BAYLOR Really Be UCF's True BIG 12 Rival? | UCF Podcast

Who is UCF Football’s true Big 12 rival? The debate heats up as Mike G. and Kyle Nash break down the Baylor-UCF connection, revisiting the storied Fiesta Bowl clash between Blake Bortles and Baylor and the heartbreak of UCF’s last Big 12 meeting in Orlando. Geography, recruiting ties, and Florida’s unique sports landscape all come into play as the hosts question what defines a genuine college football rivalry and what it’ll take for UCF to build new Big 12 traditions. The conversation then shifts to quarterback Alonzo Barnett and the Knights’ offensive strategy for the upcoming season. Would you rather see Barnett rack up sacks but dominate in touchdown passes, or risk more interceptions for bigger passing yards? Mike G. and Kyle Nash dig into O-line concerns, resilient quarterback play, and what UCF needs to catch up offensively in a tougher conference. Which rivalry—and what style of play—will define the Knights’ future? Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!
