Can Checo Perez Really Challenge Max Verstappen?

from Mode Push - the American View of F1

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix is in the books and Sergio Perez showed the world a bit of dominance after securing both the sprint race title and winning the main race over the weekend in Baku.  Max Verstappen played it cool after a 3rd place sprint finish and 2nd place in the main race after failing to rundown his Mexican teammate.  The finish brings Perez within six points of the 2-time reigning world champion Verstappen.  No one can touch the Red Bull race car but Ferrari's Charles LeClerc put up a valiant fight to put himself on the podium for the Scuderia and Dan Jimenez and Alex Kirry discuss the best and worst of the weekend as controversy once again finds the FiA unable to really explain a dangerous moment when media entered the pitlane while the race was still underway and Esteban Ocon of Alpine came barreling into the pits. Luckily no one was hurt but it was a wild scene.  Like, subscribe, leave a comment and rating!  See our website for privacy information.
