What actually happens inside your head when you think? And when was the last time someone asked you to explain it? I’ve always been curious about details people tend to skip over. Why those shoes? What made you change your hair? How did you decide to leave something you once wanted? Sometimes these questions confuse people, and occasionally they offend them. But when someone wants to explore an answer, an ordinary conversation can become surprisingly intimate. In this episode, I’m leaving room for your answers. We get into autism and curiosity, the different ways we experience our own minds, and the stories we repeat about who we are. I ask about the words you use to describe yourself, the lives you’ve left behind, and the small pleasures people rarely think to ask you about. Pause wherever a question catches you. You might find yourself putting something into words for the first time.
