Can LDS Prophets Be Wrong and Still Be Prophets?

Mormonism teaches that modern prophets can make mistakes—even doctrinal mistakes—while still serving as God’s authorized leaders for the church. But is that actually a category the Bible allows? In this video, we examine a claim recently discussed in LDS apologetics and ask a simple question: can someone speak for God, be wrong, and still remain a prophet? By looking carefully at Scripture and the biblical role of prophets, we explore whether the LDS model of prophetic authority truly aligns with the Old and New Testaments or whether it introduces a category the Bible never gives us.
