Can Ohio State make drastic coaching moves without upsetting losses?

In this edition of the Big Me Kickoff, we take on a topic that might not sit well with everyone. Was Ohio State’s loss to Michigan necessary to make such sweeping changes to the coaching staff? Sure, Ryan Day is the head coach and could make changes at any point as the leader of the team, but how much more difficult would it have been to do that if the Buckeyes were to make the playoffs once again with a win in the Big Ten Championship Game? Everyone around Ohio State wants to beat Michigan and giving up a battle to win the war seems like a foreign idea and nobody for Ohio State was asked to lay down their arms. But with the gift of hindsight, can you say that maybe it was not as much of a year-ruining event if Ohio State is able to get significantly better on defense due to these moves?It’s the Big Me Kickoff with Kevin Noon and I give my two cents on this question.
