Smith oversees the Association’s member engagement, recruitment, and retention strategy as well as manages ATSSA’s Washington, DC legislative office focusing on federal, state and grassroots advocacy, government relations-related communications, advocacy strategy, and serves as Treasurer of the association’s political action committee, ATSSA PAC. Active with the American Society of Association Executives, Smith serves as chair of the ASAE Political Action Committee and past chair of the ASAE Public Policy Committee.
