Whimsical Wonders Jessica Sawka I love reading stories to children! I’ve enjoyed reading stories to my own children for as many nights, as I’ve been able to. On nights, when I am too tired, I have searched and searched for stories and audiobooks that we would enjoy. Sadly, I never did find any. So I decided that I was going to start my own! C.S. Lewis's The Last Battle St. Philip's Church: Charleston, SC Come join us on Wednesday nights as we explore the riches of C.S. Lewis’s marvelous book The Last Battle, which is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia. It is a remarkable book on multiple levels and was awarded the Carnegie Medal back in the 1950s when it was first published. The Last Battle has some themes in common with The Great Divorce and That Hideous Strength that will make it an excellent follow-up to those two books, and like them, it has some remarkable resonance with things going on in today’s culture. It is a book that is both theologically rich and poignantly beautiful in its writing, and it can help equip us to live boldly for Christ in a culture that has lost its way. (Although this book is the last of The Chronicles of Narnia, it can stand on its own and it is not necessary to have read the other books for this class.) To The Club Gaydio Welcome to the club. Our Gaydio resident DJs catch up with your favourite Dance music legends and legends in the making to bring you stories from the dance floor, the DJ booth and some of the most iconic club nights in history. O'Domhnaill A weekly podcast where I read fictional stories and poetry I gather from Medium.com and Substack.com writers from around the world.
