Can We Be Completely Free of Sin?

from I AM PASTOR DEB · host Pastor Deb

We Want To Hear From YOU!Let me begin by defining what sin is.  Sin is any violation of the mandate and or commands of God.1 John 5:17  All wrongdoing is sinJames 4:17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.1 Cor 6:9-10 tells us “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor [a]homosexuals, nor [b]sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God”Notice the scripture deals with all types and ways we violate the word of God. We sin with our mouths, with our hands, with our bodies, with our minds in our thoughts and we sin against one another. And there is no degree of sin, with one greater than the other for all sin will keep us from entering into the Kingdom of God.Many ask, why does God allow sin.  God doesn’t allow sin, sin is an option and man’s decisions execute sin.  If truth be told, sin is a necessary evil.  If God were to remove sin as an option, He would first and foremost have to renege on the promise of freedom.  Because true freedom has to extend the option for each one to make their own decisions. Our freedom is essential to our relationship with God.  Because freedom is the core element of love.  And love can’t be forced.  God shows his love to us in so many ways, ways we could never truly count and His ultimate desire is that we reciprocate with our love of him.  There is only one way to show our love to God, he told us his love language in John 14:15: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”God, like us, wants genuine love, which comes from a desire, a longing to choose Him, and a willingness to make the sacrifices it takes to exalt a sincere love of God.  If God were to remove our option to sin then our righteousness would be rooted in it being our only option.  No one wants love from anyone based on them being that person’s only option and neither does God. If anyone is deserving of genuine love it is God.So since we will always have the option to sin, we will never be totally free from the ability to sin.  When we accept "salvation" God does not take anything from us, hence that would be in violation of His promise of freedom. All our desires and abilities are still there when we accept salvation.Support the showwww.BibleDeliverance.org
