Being near the presence of God grants the opportunity not only to speak to Him but to hear Him.1 Samuel 3:3-4 NLT2.The invitation from God should graduate from the representation of the His voice to the actual voice of God. 1 Samuel 3:5-7 NLT3.The invitation to the place of prayer should be interpreted and delivered by a servant who desires for you to hear Him and not them.1 Samuel 3:8-9 NLT4.Listening is the proper response. There isn’t much to say to the one who knows all. It is what He knows, feels, and desires that we are in need of, therefore service to God is the posture that puts our ear to His lips.1 Samuel 3:10 NLT
