Microsoft is updating Windows 11 File Explorer with preloading to improve launch speed, particularly on devices with limited processing power, and allowing users to disable this feature if desired. The context menu is being redesigned to reduce clutter by moving less-used actions into submenus and grouping common tasks in a new manage file flyout. Cloud file options, including Send to My Phone, are relocated to a dedicated section.
