With runningbacks Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi returning, along with portal additions for the interior of the offensive line, I expect the Badgers to once again have a good rushing attack. In addition, Wisconsin has changed its scheme and roster to adopt a superior passing attack that will feature quarterback Tanner Mordecai. There are many reasons to be optimistic about the Badgers, and we shouldn't forget that Mike Tressel is the defensive coordinator either. However, transforming a roster into its desired form, even with the portal, takes time. It is uncertain as to whether Wisconsin will be a success only previewed by TCU in 2022, or whether it is a failure on the level of Rich Rodriguez at the University of Michigan.
