For years I had walked through life broken and alone unaware how to love myself, but how could I? Myself worth was gone and all though I never lost the drive to work hard I lost myself in a world I was never ready for.  My mission as a cosmetologist is to not only make you love what you see on the outside but fall in love with who you are as a person on the inside. Today society has altered young adults on what beauty is supposed to look like. How do we change our generations to come?  Well we must look at our young adults like myself who end up pregnant and broken trying to raise children and the cycle continues. I want to be that voice. I know as a young adult we do not always want to take advice from elders because we feel like they have no idea what we go through. But when you put a face like mine, a young adult that has literally just climbed through the puddle of adversity they tend to actually listen because I can relate. I may not be a millionaire but I am a survivor and I know that there are many teens and young adults just like me that need to know I SEE YOU.
