Using texting along with a direct mail campaign can work like a charm and we recently did this with a list of about 6,000 people for our recent New Market Challenge. We prefer to send out a generic, neutral letter that asks if the recipient wants to sell their land, along with the number to our 24-hour recorded voicemail. We set the voicemail up in FreedomSoft and there are all sorts of cool automation features you can use.It's crazy to think about doing any kind of deal without actually talking to the other party, but this is proof that it can be done.
