Can You Forgive Yourself?

Christian Brother, Christian Sister, Dear Child of God: This is a message of deliverance. If you have been saved by the grace of God, he has forgiven you. If you have experienced a new birth spiritually by his power, he has forgiven you. . . Can you forgive yourself? On of the heaviest, most distracting, and most consuming weights that Christians carry around is guilt. Unnecessary, self-imposed guilt. You can lay down your guilt at the feet of Jesus. Stop trying to earn his love. The question is simple: Is Jesus's sacrifice on the cross enough for you, or do you feel you still need to add to it in some way?
