Can You Meditate Your Way To Better Orgasms? With Liz Goldwyn

from After Work Drinks

Hello lovely humans and welcome to another weekend edition of After Work Drinks With… This week we’re speaking to the remarkable Liz Goldwyn. Liz is a member of Hollywood royalty—her grandfather, Samuel Goldwyn, helmed the iconic MGM studio and her father, Samuel Goldwyn Jr. was one of the industry’s most celebrated independent producers. But Liz took a slightly different path from the rest of her family. She has dabbled in everything. She’s directed documentaries; contributed as a writer for Vanity Fair and The New York Times; served as the New York editor of French Vogue and lectured at UCLA. She’s also worked collaboratively as an artist with brands like MAC, has curated a documentary program for LACMA, worked as a curator at Sotheby’s, she had a stint at Planned Parenthood and is a muse to designers like Zac Posen… But the thing we most love about Liz is The Sex-Ed, the a shame-free space she launched in 2018 to explore the relationship between sex and mental and physical health. The Sex-Ed deep-dives on everything from the effects of cannabis on sexual enjoyment, to how meditation leads to better orgasms, and what us vanilla heterosexuals can learn from the kink community, while the Sex-Ed podcast, hosted by Liz, features amazing interviews with artists and creators, people like David Lynch and Natasha Lyonne. She was more than open to field our many questions about sex, like—Is watching porn anti-feminist? What if our sexual fantasies are problematic? And can you really meditate your way to better orgasms? We can’t wait for you to listen and, if you do, rate, review and subscribe on iTunes. Love you all. Hosted on Acast.
