This past weekend I heard an interview with Don Thompson, the CEO of McDonald’s.  I was absolutely fascinated by his interview. As president of the largest restaurant franchise in the world (over 35,000 locations) he will still occasionally stop by a location and go back into the kitchen and start cooking. He can still do every aspect of every job within the restaurant. Can you perform every job in your business or the business you want to buy? And why does this matter?
