Can you take another chance with me? This is the daily Deserves podcast with Anthony Ungiman. Just by listening today, you did. Thank you.
Was quite burnt. Early on in life when I thought that something was for me. I prayed about it, worked on it, set aside all for it, only to be rejected as that thing, that item, that pursuit. Had other plans without me.
I recall speaking to a mentor. I sincerely believed it was for me. I could have sworn prayer, even confirmed it. If God has willed something involving others and those others think otherwise, my friend, that is their choice and their right to reject you do not forget, though, that God is sovereign and he can create another blessing, a bigger and better one, to replace that which chose another path.
And this is what happened to me. Hang in there. As you take this new chance, he will reward your faith and your obedience. Sirich moi.
Every second a seeker can start over for his life's mistakes are initial drafts and not the final version. Can you take another chance with me? Set goals, even just for this week or the coming week with me. Personal, relational, professional.
And using our lessons this week specifically on when to know that it is time and how to gather the courage to do it. Go for it. Take another crack at improving your health. Rebuild that relationship with your mom.
Ask for that opportunity to add more value at your workplace. It doesn't have to be that you're in the wrong place and things have to be made right. Perhaps things are good, but is it time for you to go for what is great? Will you take another chance with me?
I have and will continue to take a second, third, fourth chance with you even as I do this podcast, week after week, day after day, episode after episode, not guaranteed it'll be received, that it will disturb, that will help change. But take the chance I am led and take the chance I will do rain your name. Sometimes things make more sense the second time around. People change, you change, the universe changes.
If we keep ourselves confined, first chances only, we will truly miss out on some of the most beautiful things in life. It's a Friday. Number one, what second chance should you take in life today? Number two, as a reflection, what second chance should you give to somebody around you today?
And number three, what second chance is God, however you conceive him to be, asking you to give him so that he can bless you even further today. Have a great weekend taking second chances. God bless you.
