Afghanistan war hero Jess Larochelle died last fall without the Canadian Victoria Cross being awarded him, as many in the military and veterans believe. Now there's a movement to have his mother, Anna Larochelle, designated by Canadian Legions as the national Silver Cross Mother.Retired Captain Mike Harrison and Andrew Larochelle, brother to Jess, join Echo Essential podcast co-hosts Scott Clark and Dave Dale to discuss the merits of both campaigns. Harrison said it's become a political issue, likely because many of the supporters of Larochelle's medal review request are Conservatives.
