Canada-U.S. trade talks

Prime Minister Mark Carney says there has been "substantial progress" during discussions over a new trade deal with the U.S., with President Donald Trump pausing 50 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods for three days. We spoke to Eric Miller, former senior policy advisor to the Canadian Embassy in Washington, about the negotiations so far.
