Canada vs Trump Trade War Escalates | US News

Trump’s escalating trade war with Canada threatens 50% tariffs on autos, steel, and parts, demanding Canada “fall in line” — a move PM Mark Carney fiercely rejects, calling it an assault on Canadian sovereignty and key industries. Trump fires back with personal jabs and criticism of Canadian farm tariffs, but Ford remains defiant — Canada is ready to fight back hard, leveraging its global alliances and strategic resources to defend its economy and independence.
