Canada’s Historic Win Shadows by Injury
from Perth News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Canada crushed Qatar 6-0 in a historic World Cup debut, with Jonathan David lighting up the scoreboard with a hat-trick and Larin and Saliba adding goals. The win, Canada’s first ever at a men’s World Cup, sends them soaring into the knockout rounds — but the celebration was tinged with heartbreak after Ismael Kone suffered a horrific leg break.
