Canada’s Unified Response to Lake America | Calgary News

President Trump’s bold declaration of Lake Ontario as “Lake America” sparked a firestorm across Canada, igniting political backlash and public solidarity. While some call it childish posturing, leaders like Prime Minister Carney and Premier Ford are responding with firm, strategic moves — from suspending trade talks to banning U.S. alcohol sales and investing in domestic rail manufacturing.
