Cancelled? Nah, Just Getting Started: David Womble Jr.
from Complete Nonsense Podcast Hosted by AC
AC & Dees welcome seasoned comedian David Womble Jr., who’s been making audiences laugh from New Jersey to Florida to Texas. Victim? Wrong word. Conqueror is more like it. First things first… how was the Malört? Thanks to Alyx Libby, AC is officially back in Chicago’s good graces. Then things take a turn. After years of working the Austin comedy scene and multiple appearances at KT, David reveals how he ended up banned—and even trespassed—from the Mothership. Trespassed? What in the actual f&$k happened? AC & Dees dive headfirst into the comedy underworld, learning there are politics and pitfalls everywhere. Next time we hit the studio, we might want to make sure we’re not standing on plastic. David Jr. holds absolutely nothing back. He opens up about his career, the highs, the setbacks, the controversy, and the comedians he’s crossed paths with along the way. One thing is crystal clear: it’s “Complete Nonsense” to think you can hold this guy back. Funny is funny. Deal with it.
